This video lesson is part of our broader “Introduction to Accounting” series, and it will introduce you to financial statements. Financial statements enable you to evaluate the performance of your business and make critical business decisions. They are the tool by which important financial information gets communicated to businesses stakeholders. In this lesson, we’ll go over the two main financial statements, which are the Balance Sheet and the Income statement, also known as Profit and Loss.
